Royal Blackheath Golf Club

Designer: James Argent

Course Description:

18 hole parkland course 7000 yards off the Tips, Boasts excellent fairways, true greens and challenging holes, whilst the magnificent 17th century Clubhouse - with stunning views across the course - is the perfect place to relax after a game. The first definite evidence of club activity is a silver club presented by Henry Foot for a competition in 1766 and played for ever since. This date would still make Royal Blackheath the oldest English golf club and the oldest golf club outside Scotland.
