Opened in 2008, the Nord Course was designed from the outset to meet the needs of international professional tournaments. With its 7,161 m length from Champions-Tee, it is the longest course on the European Tour. Along with the lengths, the element of water represents one of the greatest challenges of the Course. 17 holes are designed with water hazards, which partly accompany the holes from the tee to the green. Strategically located close to the greens, bunkers challenge every player at the highest level. According to the course rating of the DGV, the Porsche Nord Course by Champions-Tee is the most difficult course in Germany.
