Canuck's Course Critiques

- Some great holes with lots of choice off the tee and on the approach
- Some strong finishing holes (17 and 18)
- Very cool little touches throughout (rock slide, gazebos, etc)

-some disappointing par 3's
- bunkering needs work in regards to elevation around the bunker, depth, etc

Verdict: Another solid entry in the the next level course design contest. Worth at least one play! 4.25/5 Good

I loved this course, a gorgeous looking well thought out golf course.
Lots of options from the tee, so different strategies come into play with different wind directions.
The attention to detail throughout the course is very impressive, from the planting, building positioning and even a rock slide.
Lots of unique, interesting holes. The greens were well designed, not overly contoured, but enough to make you think.
The only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the tough opening par three, if you get greedy with the wrong wind you could be hitting three from the tee or from a drop position.
I would highly recommend giving this one a go.
