Part one of 4 pin setup for Tournament Play. Welcome to the Pittsburgh Field Club. A previous host to a TGC Tour events, this completely new offering uses the Rustic theme and plays and looks as realistic as possible. The course has soft fairways and above average firmness on the greens. Pin placements are fair, and birdie can be made on every hole. The Field Club is a private country club, established in 1882, located six miles (10 km) northeast of downtown Pittsburgh in the suburb of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania. It underwent a complete renovation in 2014, celebrating 100 years at it's current location. Known simply as The Field Club to Pittsburghers, it hosted the PGA Championship in 1937, where Denny Shute successfully defended his match play title. The club also hosted the Western Open in 1959 as part of Pittsburgh’s bicentennial celebration. PFC co-hosted the Stroke Play portion of 2003 US Amateur Championship, held at Oakmont. It annually hosts the Pittsburgh Open.
