Mactan Hills Country Club is designed for a relaxing round of golf. But the greens being fast can make for some excitement. Fairway bunkers are present, but water is also a major hazard as many fairways play with water on one or both sides. Driver isn't always the best play off the tee on the par 4's and par 5's. The signature hole, the Par 3 7th can add some drama during tournament play with its bunker in the middle of the green and the pins arranged around it. Being on the wrong side of the pin can require a pitch or flop over it.
