Jack Tilly
The Avalon Club was designed as a hilly inland course, nestled among the mature cypress trees, where strategic shot placement is important to tame the large, yet difficult, greens, and the strong westerly prevailing wind. The course is 7,242 yards from the Venturi (Gold) tees and carries a par of 72. This course has a traditional 4 par 5s and 4 par 3s, and also has 2 potentially drivable par 4s. This is my entry to the 2020 Rookie Design Contest.
