Kidnappers Lookout is loosely inspired by New Zealand's Cape Kidnappers. I was going for a similar look and feel. It's a rustic layout with generous fairways, and although the bunkers and waste areas feature a lot of vegetation, they are firm, and as a result, your ball will typically roll into the bottom of the bunker allowing for a relatively clear out. As is the case with Cape Kidnappers, many of the greens hug the cliffside, with the ocean 300 feet below. Approach these greens with caution and pay attention to the elevation change in your club selection.
