Robert Spivey
Tour version done by Forrest McMillan aka McTrees, he used my course, tweaked the looks, the length and the green speeds for Platinum tour use. Poppy Hills located on the Monterey Peninsula opened in 1986 and is a Par 71 course measuring 6,262 out to 6,953 yards. The Robert Trent Jones Jr. design has since co-hosted the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am replacing Cypress Point from 1991 through 2009. Poppy Hills was featured in the original Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game series in 1999, and was an active course through 2004.
